The University of Nevada, Reno Partners with Circuit Stream for XR Courses

Circuit Stream is proud to partner with the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) to provide courses in real-time 3D, augmented and virtual reality development and design. Students enrolled at the university will now have access to immersive-learning tools and can acquire industry-specific certifications.

Circuit Stream online courses are being offered through University of Nevada, Reno Extended Studies, a division of the university responsible for a wide range of programming, including professional development, contract training and other learning opportunities. UNR's distinguished academic reputation can increasingly be provided by a wider pool of learners through professional courses provided by Circuit Stream.

This partnership is the fifth of its kind and marks a new state on the map as Circuit Stream expands its university partner network to offer more students an access to the best possible education in immersive technologies including real-time 3D development and design.

The team at Circuit Stream recognized the value of its new partnership, as the University of Nevada, Reno is recognized as a top National University by U.S. News & World Report, one of the country's top research institutions by the Carnegie® Classification and a Carnegie® Engaged University.

New cooperation between Circuit Stream and the University of Nevada, Reno was a boon to both entities.

Students who choose to take the opportunities at The University of Nevada, Reno will have access to the latest version of the select courses:

  • XR Development with Unity: Learn Unity and XR application fundamentals online over a 10-week live course. First cohort starts May 16, 2022.
  • Interaction Design and Prototyping for XR: Learn how to prototype XR application and design with best practices online in this 10-week course. First cohort starts on April 20, 2022.
  • C# Scripting: Learn the primary coding language for Unity through a 4-week prep course. Available as add-on to the course.
