Circuit Stream is excited to partner with Urban Arts to offer a scholarship to attend their first-ever Unity Bootcamp as part of the Urban Arts program. The 30-week Bootcamp by design prepares students for a successful career in 3D Development.
Who is Urban Arts?
Urban Arts is a non-profit that designs and implements cutting-edge educational programs rooted in arts and technology that address the most pressing needs of students in low-income communities. Urban Arts’ mission:
"We help students explore their creativity and harness technology to defy the odds and define their future."
Youth in the Urban Arts program come from low-income communities and Title 1 schools, and have fewer opportunities than their better-resourced peers. The decision to partner with Urban Arts was an easy one — together we are closing the opportunity gap by helping diverse students learn in-demand tech skills — Unity and real-time 3D methods — and open up pathways and job opportunities in the XR industry.
Through the Urban Arts Immersive Scholarship, three community members will graduate from the 30-week program with a portfolio of projects demonstrating extensive Unity skills and understanding of concepts related to real-time 3d and immersive environments. The scholarship recipient will receive an industry-recognized certification from Circuit Stream and an Associate Programmer Certificate from Unity Technologies.
